Your makeup is built to last, but a long day of hugs, tears, food and dancing still deserves a little maintenance. A small, well-packed kit in the right hands keeps you looking fresh from the first photo to the last song.
What to pack
Keep it small enough for a clutch or a pouch:
- Blotting papers, your first defense against shine.
- A pressed translucent powder with a small puff. Pressed, not loose, so it can't spill.
- Your lip liner and lip color from the day. Ask your artist for the exact shades.
- Pointed cotton swabs for fixing smudges under the eyes.
- A small mirror.
- A mini setting spray.
- A small tube of lash adhesive, if you're wearing strip lashes, ideally the same one used that day.
- Tissues for happy tears.
- Bobby pins that match your hair, plus a small comb.
- Mints, and a comfortable lip balm for the end of the night.
